A Big Thanks to all in Chorlton
Beech Road Festival in Manchester was on July 1st.
Beech Road is a lively, trendy area full of bars, restaurants and shops. They have a festival every year and various charities and local businesses have stalls, there are also bands playing and funfair rides, so fun for all.
Despite the rain the festival was busy and once again a great success. Together with a friend Jo Murphy ran a stall selling bric-a -brac and Sangria ( the friend is Spanish so the recipe for Sangria was authentic!)
The money raised by the stall was split half for Jo’s nominated charity (CCCRF) and half for her friend’s.
They raised £180 for each charity- not bad for a rainy day in Manchester!!!
A big thanks to all who supported the festival and to Jo for fundraising and giving to our charity.
