My friend Caron is competing in the London Marathon
(April 13th) AGAIN!
Last year she raised over £1,000 for us and she is hoping to raise money again this year if you feel like supporting her you can find her on her own page on the Just Giving site…

My super fit friend (Caron) has persuaded me to ‘do’ the 3 peaks over 3 days - I didn’t feel that I could cope doing them all in 24 hours but she feels that we can do 1 per day!!!

This is to be held at The Lowry Hotel in Manchester this year; I have decided to host another after last years proved so successful.
The tables are for ten people and you can start to book your places now as there are less places - 280 to be precise!
Not sure about this - Chris’s uncle who is a singer, and his friends were hoping to host an evening at the Lowry Theatre maybe October time?
We are happy to join in and add our mileage to this worthy cause.
The target is to try and get as many people to do a sponsored walk in their area for their chosen charity and add the mileage to raise awareness to this often frightening and distressing disease.
The aim is to reach 40,000kms (25,000miles) which is once around the world.
We at cccrf had already planned to do a coast to coast walk so have pledged the miles for this, but if anyone else would like to do a sponsored walk they must feel free to do so, it can be for any worthy cause. Please post your comments.

Day 6 - Kirkby Stephen to Thwaite (12m)
Day 7 - Thwaite to Richmond (22m)
Day 8 - Richmond to Ingleby Cross (23m)
Day 9 - Ingleby Cross to Grt Broughton (12m)
Day 10 - Grt Broughton to Egton Bridge (20m)
Day 11 - Egton Bridge to Robin Hoods Bay (18m)
