We have heard form the Charity Commission and we have been granted Charitable status which is great news!
Our Number is:1119095
Hopefully we can get some larger companies to consider sponsoring us on a long term basis so we get a regular income.
If any one has any ideas as to who may be willing to consider supporting our charity PLEASE let me know.
Thanks
Karen
The fund is doing REALLY well and that is
thanks to all of you
for your continued support, please keep it coming.
we have now reached…
£69,000
£50,000
We are now half way!
We have heard from the Charity Commission and they have accepted our application subject to a couple of minor adjustments!
So hopefully we can go from strength to strength now.
Chris’s grandmother belongs to Hawkshaw Flower Club and they have chosen to support this charity as one of their two charities for the year. Thank you.
We are still awaiting charity status and then we are planning to discuss matters with both Christie and Hope Hospital and see what is the best way forward.
I phoned for a progress report today:23.02.07 and it is proceeding appropriately the Charity Commission have checked the name and approve that there is nothing similar, so that is the first hurdle, and we just have to wait.
We have received notification from The Charity Commision that we have got charitable status subject a couple of minor alterations, which is great so we should have a number fairly soon.
One of Chris’s friends (Zara Kenny)went to Lancaster University in September and suggested the University support our Charity.
Someone from the Student Rag phoned me up; it was around the anniversary of Chris’s birthday, asking for permission to proceed - obviously I agreed; they volunteered to make a presentation on my behalf. Zara Kenny and the young girl from the Rag made a successful presentation and Lancaster University have agreed to support the Charity for the year!
Thank you.
